In early March of this year, we were on the beach in Nahant, Massachusetts for a romantic Oceanview of Nahant wedding for Sophia and Grady on an exceptionally warm day for one of the last weekends of winter in New England!
Sophia and Grady celebrated their special day in Nahant, MA - a northern shore town known for its beautiful views and beaches, just 14 miles north of Boston, MA - at The Oceanview of Nahant, a venue that has epic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The overall aesthetic and color scheme for this wedding was pure romance - with white, ivory, blush and mauve tones, which we incorporated in many ways into all the florals for this wedding.
We had many flower moments for Sophia & Grady, first to mention were the personal flowers for the wedding party. Bridal bouquets will always be one of my favorite things to make and this bouquet will hands down always be a favorite. Filled with blush, mauve, and white blooms featuring florals like sweet peas, ranunculus, playa blanca roses, lilac, butterfly ranunculus and lastly plenty of touches of trailing jasmine vines.
The couple's ceremony took place inside The Oceanview of Nahant in the grand ballroom, which faces directly out to beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. For the ceremony, we adorned a wooden hexagon arbor - with florals cascading down the lefthand side of the arbor. The arbor was filled with blooms matching the bridal bouquet with additional touches of italian ruscus, white delphinium, blush mums, and white preserved ruscus.
Moving to the reception, we adorned the round tables with accents of light greenery and pops of florals that complimented the lanterns that sat at the center of each table. And the sweetheart table, where Sophia and Grady sat as newlyweds in front of all their loved ones, was accented with a cascading compote style vase arrangement to sit at the front of the table, alongside floating candles.
We are very lucky and honored to have been a part of this day for Sophia and Grady.
